A useful, if rather dated, introduction. "The author, who deals with the tying of both trout and salmon flies, does not recommend the use of a vice." (The Scottish Angler, November-December 1950). This 1966 "reprint" is actually a new edition, which now gives the author's qualifications on the title-page ("By T.R. Henn, C.B.E. (Mil.), M.A., Hon. Litt.D., Hon. LL.D."), and includes a new 5-page postscript by the author, dated December 1965.
